A Bad Poem
Draft_1
By: Chase L. Currie
A poem is this, I learn in
school,
Something that must rhyme,
Something that must have
this many lines,
Something that must be this
way.
A poem is this, I came to
find out,
Was not for me,
In fact I was a bad poet,
Someone, somewhere, did tell
me.
So here I am, I now know,
I am a bad poet,
With his bad poems,
Not caring what I was told,
Not caring about how things
should be.
In fact, If you must know,
I rather like being a Bad,
Bad, Bad, poet!
